Claudia Marroquin is the Senior Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Bowdoin College, where she oversees Bowdoin’s highly selective admissions and financial aid program. Prior to her role, Marroquin served as the director of admissions at the college. Marroquin is originally from the Koreatown neighborhood in central Los Angeles, where she lived after immigrating to the United States from Guatemala with her mother and two sisters. Marroquin is a first-generation college student and a 2006 graduate of Bowdoin College.
