Destiny Talley is a Virtual College Advisor through the College Advising Corps, where she works to continuously deepen and broaden her commitment to educational advocacy. Her vision is to “motivate, mentor, and mobilize” students within marginalized populations and to closely analyze the disparity between underrepresented students and collegiate persistence. Prior to joining the CAC team, Destiny worked in a similar capacity through the Carolina College Advising Corps, serving students in rural Rockingham County, NC. Destiny holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
