Janet Sanchez

Janet Sanchez is an eAdviser with the CollegePoint Initiative. As a first-generation, Korean American, and low-income student, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. And she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Education at Appalachian State University. Before joining CAC, Janet served as a college adviser at a North Carolina high school through the Carolina College Advising Corps. Janet has also worked with early college high school students and transfer community college students. She is truly passionate about increasing college access for all students regardless of class, race, background, or disability.
